DAKO

Introducing team DAKO from Valmiera in Latvia. We have been proud to be working with this team since 2016 as they compete in races all over Latvia. From the small local races to the biggest races in the country, team DAKO is always there and always aiming for the highest step on the podium! Competing mostly in MTB, the team can be seen racing in all forms of cycling and when the days get shorter and the snow starts to fall then they are not afraid to get their ski's on!

DAKO and moomoo

Matching your kit with the weather conditions outside is essential to enjoying a good ride. That's why DAKO choose moomoo, making the ride comfortable and reliable in a variety of weather conditions. DAKO has been riding in moomoo since the beginning of the team in 2016, choosing moomoo because of the high quality. When the new team kit arrives each year there is always delight and satisfaction in the air with the Aero Road Suit, Bib Shorts Pro and Basic Gilet being the most popular items.

Not just cycling

Being in Northern Europe, a popular way to spend the winter months is to get out the cross country ski's. Not only is it a perfect aerobic activity but it is also great for chasing away the winter blues. In the winter you can find team DAKO competing in several cross-country skiing competitions such as the traditional “Apkārt Alaukstam” and also recently the “Valka- Valga quadruped 2022” where they won the team prize.

DAKO Design

The author of the Dako's latest team kit is moomoo's creative lead Timo Saabas.

Dako's design concept has always been both functional and practical. With its dominating neon green colour, it is very distinctive in the peloton as well as out in traffic. Bright green is balanced by classic looking black bibtights and a white top. The colours are used wisely so the rider would look nice and he would have less trouble washing the clothes after a muddy forest ride. Special halftone effect is used to transition from black to green, giving a bright and minimalist design which includes some cool small details that are not noticed at first glance.
